My speciality has always been Opening Theory and endgame play. Even much better players -when I was young and playing OTB-where reluctant to enter into theorethical discussions against me ( it wasn't necessary, because in those days they could destroy me at the middlegame, that is not that easy anymore today!)) and I was locally famous to save more than a lost game because of my ingenuity at the endgame. I had -and still preserve-a tremendous memory ( in many fields) which undoubtedly worked against my chess understanding when I was younger (I had no chess teachers whatsoever and had to learn by myself in the hardest way) I do not believe in most clichés, and therefore I am sure that any trained enough mind could keep improving 'till the last breathe!

I would like to play someday at the Senior's World Championship, but if they go back to plus 60 which was the original age, today at plus 50 (is that a Senior????) my chances are slim. At plus 60 I am very much confident in my state of mind in comparison to people of my age!

Besides some material and photos you would find below there are more that I am going to add as I have some time. Draws OTB against IM Debarnot, IM Paglilla. A win over IM Jaime Emma. A very well played win over IM Marcelo Panelo (he was not yet an IM but the same year that he lost that game against me (Merlo International 1995) he won against the late GM Maxim Sorokin, therefore he was by no means a weak player, although to be fair he was far from his best at Merlo's International. And so many games against my late friend FM Eduardo Vasta (5 times Champion of Mar del Plata)... A win over IM Bernardo Wexler...And mostly, many looses against too many to remember!
